. there is a monument to dr. king. 50 years after "i have a dream" there is a memorial to this man. this story of race slavery, civil rights and involvement in our history is so important. i think it's really significant to have all these symbols together on this very significant day. >> president barack obama is the 44th american president. we have had 20 two-term presidents. how have two-term presidents fathered? >> recently not so well if we think about recent controversies, they tend to come in the second term. i don't know if that's just a coincidence. bill clinton's impeachment, of course. george bush had a lot of his presidency starting to unravel in the second term. richard nixon, watergate in the second term. for ronald reagan iran contra. it may be that people have been around too long and they get a little sloppy. some of those things preceded the second term as well. it always hasn't been the case. franklin d. roosevelt we just saw 1933 his second term although he had one big setback. he tried to go too far with the supreme court, it was still a successful second term

ceremony over the weekend at the memorial dedicated to dr. martin luther king, jr. he would have turned 84 last week. today is the national holiday in king's memory. when president obama takes his public oath of office in a few hours, he will use a bible that belonged to king. and in case you're wondering what's closed today. federal and state courts are closed. as are city and county offices. banks and post offices are closed. there is no mail delivery today. as for public transit.bart and muni are operating on a saturday schedule there is weekend service for golden gate transit ferries and a-c transit buses. however, samtrans and caltrain are operating on regular weekday schedule. and in san francisco.parking meters are enforced. >> the dream catcher-the dream lighter-787, still wondering of the fire that could have caused from a battery. they could still be problems with wiring or other internal electrical components. and alsoa commuter plane skids off the runway at newark liberty airport. here you see the united airlines express plane flanked by emergency crews. 13 people were on board
